Coffee Shops & Bakeries

Stomping Grounds

213 4th St NE, Staples | 218-895-3599

Stomping Grounds is a locally owned coffee shop that offers a wide variety of delicious drinks including coffees, hot, iced and blended lattes, mochas and chais. (Fun fact: the coffee beans are from Folly Coffee, based in Silver Lake, Minnesota.) Their lunch menu includes paninis, wraps and local bakery goods.

The atmosphere is warm and friendly. A nice place to go when you need a place to meet or change of scenery to get some work done. Snag a table at the window and watch the people and traffic go by. A great stop in the winter to warm yourself up or treat yourself in the summer to get your day started. The coffee shop has indoor seating and variety of merchandise too, including some fun to go coffee mugs, candles, and gift items.

The Stomping Grounds was also featured on KSTP-TV’s Twin Cities Live with the stories of the top coffee shops.

Open Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m.–5 p.m.
